As a group of shopaholics, we have decided to investigate on the clothes we wear every day and where they come from. We went around Winchester town and randomly chose some shops and noted down the results of where they are from.

Conclusion

In conclusion many items of clothing come from eastern countries such as India, China, and Mauritius etc. However there were a few shops where they had clothes made from the UK which was a limited amount. Furthermore we found out that Primark did not display where their clothing comes from, this may be due to the media exposing that the shop make use of child labour.

In order to make this research more reliable we would need to investigate other branches of these stores in different locations.
